usefulness and depending on the need, can be used
separately or in combination to create beautiful,

When seeding projects in natural settings you may
wish to specify the use of native species only, in
an attempt to re-create a native habitat. While
taking longer to establish, native species will
generally create the most authentic and longest
lasting display. |
When seeding projects in
man-made or man-modified
sites, such as highway
shoulders, golf course roughs or
housing developments, you may
wish to provide a quick and
colorful vegetative cover to
prevent soil erosion. By using a
combination of natives and
naturalized species that work
together, you can create a quick,
colorful and well-adapted display.
In urban settings, when
landscaping close to
office buildings or homes, garden flower
varieties offer versatility in height, bloom time
